The biography of Louis Quilico is not accurate. He was born in 1925, not 1929. Check the Encylopedia of Music in Canada (current edition online). Check his official website: www.louisquilico.com and his official biography written with his second wife, Christina Petrowska Quilico (Mr. Rigoletto:In Conversation with Louis Quilico, Captus Press, 1996, 2nd edition 1998. The last 10 years of his life (he died July 15th, 2000) had been busy. He sang at the Metropolitan Opera for 25 years and retired in 1998. He made many new recordings, Most Happy Fella for Jay records and 4 CDs with Christina Petrowska Quilico, including Mr. Rigoletto:My LIfe in Music (Analekta) and Vocal Gems: Live from New York (his last New York Recital in 1998). This author should be more careful in his research.
