Juliet Ash is Lecturer in Fashion Design History and Theory at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication. Elizabeth Wilson is Professor of Social Studies, Polytechnic of North London, and author of "Adorned in Dreams" (California, 1988) and "The Sphinx in the City"(California, 1992).
