About the author (2008)

Richard Evans is a former manager for London Records and for MTV Europe. He runs the popular 1980s website RememberTheEighties.com, which receives more than a million hits per month and distributes its newsletter to 18,000 people per week, as well as his own record label, This Is Not Retro, on which he releases new music from classic 1980s pop and rock acts. Martin Fry is lead singer of the band ABC.
