About the author (2001)

Everett Collier is an electrical engineer, an avid cruising sailor and powerboater, and an amateur boatbuilder. He was most recently a director of technology in GTE's Precision Materials Group. He lectures and consults in advanced manufacturing technology management and is a member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers and the American Boat & Yacht Council.
