I was hesitant about ordering the paperback version but it turned out to be a very sturdy book. Besides recipes, the book is full of colorful pictures and descriptions about the different regions of Hungary. You will receive a history lesson as well as a cooking lesson and a cultural experience as well as a culinary experience. The book goes into detail about how the recipes came about, which I found intriguing. Most of the ingredients were easy to find in an American store. If you are interested in trying Hungarian cooking, I highly recommend this book, even in paperback form.
