About the author (2006)

Jerry Conrad holds the position of Archivist for the Chris-Craft Collection of the Research Library and Archives at The Mariners’ Museum in Newport News, Virginia. With the Museum since 1997, Conrad holds degrees from the State University of New York at Stonybrook in both history and marine science.
