During the course of his career, Wayne G. Sayles founded The Celator, the respected journal devoted to ancient coins, where he served for many years as the editor and publisher. In addition to writing more than 40 articles on ancient coins, he authored all six volumes in the Ancient Coin Collecting book series. He lives in Baltimore, Maryland.
