A Literation is a grassroots electronic literary magazine founded by a handful of bloggers who met on Tumblr. The journal is aimed at spotlighting the dynamic and diverse community of writers and artists on Tumblr and to bring them to the attention of not just other Tumblr users, but to all literary channels-both traditional and non-conventional. A Literation hopes to facilitate the continued integration of "Internet Art" into the literary community, while innovating new and provocative forms of literature and providing subscribers and contributors alike an opportunity to participate in what is truly a joint venture between the reader and the writers.
