Review: Mimesis: The Representation of Reality in Western Literature

User Review - Goodreads

This book is one of the finest works on Critical Theory, specializing in literary theory, I have ever read. Auerbach is readable and coherent discussing a subject not known for coherent and comprehensible writers. A must read if you are a writer or interested in writing.
