This updated handbook contains practical information to get around and explore Namibia, a wild and uninhabited area of southern Africa. It has been written by a team of Africa enthusiasts who have lived, worked and studied in Namibia for several years. The coverage of the guide is broadly based, encompassing the widely spread, established sights such as the Etosha game reserve in the north and the Fish River Canyon in the south, and the many less well-known areas of interest.
