About the author (1997)

Don Hultzman has always been a casual collector of old toys, but got really serious about the hobby when he found that repairing broken toys was just as exciting as collecting them. Besides working, raising a family, and collecting and repairing mechanical and battery-operated and wind-up toys, he also writes feature articles for toy publications as well as books on battery-operated toys.
