A fascinating analysis of something we all use on a daily basis & take for granted: clothing & the significance of clothing. As always & as with all her books, the erudite Ms. Hollander presents her theories & informative views eloquently. This is a must read for anyone who is so much as remotely interested in clothes & sartorial history.
