Cuthbert Harrison (1627-1681) married Ellen Swarbrick, the daughter of Dr. John Swarbrick. They migrated to County Armagh, Ireland about 1657, but later removed to Lancashire, England. Their son, Richard (ca. 1672-1759) married Alice Fayle. Descendants and relatives lived chiefly in Newton and Bankfield.
