I have been scanning this book of Mysteries by Mike Magee, which he wrote back in 1986.
It's about the Goddess, Lalita, She who plays. She has many, many other names too.
The book is about the
origins of Tantric belief systems. It's also about how the Goddess can be worshipped. Worship can be through Tantric rites. Rites can be performed alone, with a partner or in groups.
The explanations for the images are very good. Mike explains what the various triangles or Shakti represent.
Colours are very important. This book attempts a technical explanation of some very ancient belief systems of the East, and so represents an important link with them.
