About the author (2021)

Dr Stephen M. Whitehead is an internationally recognised expert in the study of men and masculinities, gender and identity. He has been researching and writing for 30 years. This is his twelfth book. Dr Whitehead has lectured at leading global universities and international schools. He has held Professorial Posts and Senior Lectureships at UK and Asian universities and appeared on numerous television and radio programmes. He now lives in Thailand.
