The Lord Bishop of London reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the finish"ing and adorning the Cathedral Church of St. Paul's, "London," as fit to pass, without any Amendment."

"His Reign, did grant unto feveral Perfons, in Trust
"for the City of London, the Honour of Richmond, and
"Lordship of Middlebam, in the County of York, with
"feveral Mefne Manors and Lordships within the faid
"Honour; and that *in an Inquifition, taken by Virtue
"of a Commiffion iffued in the Fifteenth Year of King
"James the First, are contained the Boundaries of the
"Honour of Richmond and Lordship of Middleham,
"which faid Commiffion was duly executed, returned,
"and filed; but the fame, fome Years paft being taken
"from the File, was, by Order of the Court of Ex-
"chequer, of the Fifteenth of July One Thousand
"Seven Hundred and One, directed to be allowed as a
"Record of that Court, and to be filed accordingly:
"That the Petitioners are informed, that the Right
"Honourable Thomas Lord Wharton hath petitioned
"this House, that the faid Order of the Fifteenth Day
"of July One Thoufand Seven Hundred and One

may be discharged, and that the faid Survey may be

This Day the Lord Chief Juftice of Her Majefty's Court of Queen's Bench brought up a Writ of Error, wherein W'm Sutton is Plaintiff, and Nicholas Weft Defendant:

Hereupon the House taking into Confideration, that the faid Writ of Error was not brought in Time (as it might have been), according to the Standing Rules and Orders of this House, but only for Delay; it is there fore ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament affembled, That the faid Writ of Error fhall not be received; but returned to the Court of Queen's Bench, from whence the fame was brought.
