Upon reading the Petition of Anna Torre; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, to veft feveral Lands and Tenements, in the Parish of Gisborough, in the County of York, and in the Parish of Haxham, in the County of Lincolne, in Trustees, to enable them to make Sale thereof, for Payment of James Torr's Debts; and also to veft the Manor of Suydale in Trustees, to enable them to fettle One Hundred and Forty Pounds per Annum to the fame Ufes as in a former Settlement is limited:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament affembled, That the Petitioner hath hereby Leave to bring in a Bill, as defired.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Joas Bateman, of London, Merchant, in relation to a Decree made in the Court of Chancery, the Eight and Twentieth of June One Thoufand Seven Hundred and One, by the Mafter of the Rolls; who declared, "That William "Bateman, in the Petition mentioned, was but a Truf "tee for his Father," and decreed a perpetual Injunction against Cornelias Dower, and difmiffed her Bill; and against a Decree made by the Lord Keeper of the Great Seal of England, in May and June One Thoufand Seven Hundred and Two, and other Things in the Decree mentioned; and praying, "That the Order and "Decree of the Lord Keeper may be reverfed, and "the Decree made by the Mafter of the Rolls may be "affirmed; and that John Crawley, in the Appeal men tioned, may anfwer to the faid Appeal:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament affembled, That the faid John Crawley may have a Copy of the faid Appeal; and fhall and he is hereby required to put in his Answer thereunto, in Writing, on Thursday the Third Day of February next, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon.

After hearing Counfel, upon the Petition and Appeal of William Dobfon, from a Decree of Difmiffion made in the Court of Chancery, the First Day of June One Thoufand Seven Hundred and Three, on the Behalf of Gilbert Hearne and praying the Reverfal of the faid ; Decree; and duc Confideration of what was offered thereupon:

It is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament affembled, That the faid Petition and Appeal of William Dobfon fhall be, and is hereby, difmiffed this House; and that the Decree of Difmiflion therein complained of shall be, and is hereby, affirmed.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of George Mathew Junior, Gentleman, and Martha his Wife, from Phillips & al. a Decree of Difmiffion of the Court of Chancery in Ireland, the Seventeenth Day of November One Thoufand Seven Hundred and One, of the Petitioners Bill there, in a certain Caufe, wherein, the faid Appellants being then under the Age of One and Twenty Years, by George Mathew the Elder, Efquire, their Parent and next Friend, were Complainants, against Chichester Phillips, Dame Sufanna Eaton the Widow and Relict of Sir Symon Eaton Baronet, Thomas Brown and Margaret his Wife, Henry Johnston Efquire, and others, were Defendants; and praying" the Reverfal of the faid Decree; and that the Refpondents may answer to the "faid Appeal; and, in the mean Time, all Proceedings "ftayed in this Caufe:"
