The Houfe (according to Order) proceeded to take againft Miller into Confideration the Caufe wherein James Anderfon & M'Gill: Efquire is Appellant, and The Reverend Laurence Miller Minifter of the Parish of Abdie, and The Honorable Mrs. Maitland M'Gill are Respondents: And Confideration being had thereof accordingly; The following Order and Judgement was made: After hearing Counsel Yesterday upon the Petition and Appeal of James Anderson Efquire of Inchry, (which Appeal upon the Death of The Reverend Robert Thomas late Minifter of the Parish of Abdie, in the County of Fife, One of the Refpondents, was, by Order of this Houfe of the 10th of June laft, revived in the Name of The Reverend Laurence Miller, now Minister of the faid Parish of Aodie) complaining of Six Interlocutors of the Lord Ordinary in Scotland, of the 21ft of May, the 13th of June, and the 2d of July 1807, the 19th of May, and the 18th and 30th of June 1808; and alfo of Two Interlocutors of the Lords of Seffion, of the First Divifion, there of the 2d, figned the 6th of March, and the 22d of May 1810; and praying, "That the fame "might be reverfed, varied or altered, or that the Ap

It is ORDERED, and ADJUDGED, by the Lords SpiriAffirmed with tual and Temporal in Parliament affembled, That the faid Petition and Appeal be, and is hereby difmiffed this Houfe, and that the faid Interlocutors therein complained of, be, and the fame are hereby Affirmed: And it is further Ordered, That the Appellant do pay, or cause to be paid to the faid Refpondents, the Sum of Eighty Pounds for their Cofts, in refpect of the faid Appeal.

"and being defirous of bestowing upon the faid Lord
"Exmouth a fignal Mark of His Favor, and for this
"Purpose to give and grant unto the said Vice Admiral
"Lord Exmouth, and the Heirs Male of his Body, to
"whom the Title of Baron Exmouth of Canonteign, in
"the County of Devon, shall descend, a Net Annuity of
"Two thoufand Pounds, recommends it to the House
"of Lords to concur with the Commons in enabling
"His Majefty to grant the fame, and in extending, fe-
curing and fettling fuch Annuity upon the faid Vice

Refolved, Nemine Diffentiente, That this Houfe doth highly approve and acknowledge the Services of the Petty Officers and Non-commiffioned Officers and Men employed in His Majefty's Navy, Army and Marines, during the Courfe of the War; and that the fame be communicated to them by the Commanders of the feveral Ships and Corps, who are refpectively defired to thank thofe under their Command for their exemplary and gallant Behaviour.

ORDERED, That The Lord Chancellor do fignify the faid Refolutions, by Letter, to the Commiffioners for executing the Office of Lord High Admiral of the United Kingdom, and to the Captain General and Commander in Chief of His Majesty's Forces.

The Earl of Shaftesbury reported from the Lords Committees, to whom the Bill, intituled, " An A&t to

enlarge, alter and amend the Powers of the feveral "Acts for making and maintaining the Forth and Clyde "Navigation," was committed; "That they had con"fidered the faid Bill, and examined the Allegations "thereof, which were found to be true; and that the "Committee had gone through the Bill, and directed him to report the fame to the Houfe, without any "Amendment."

"enclofing Lands in the Township or Hamlet of Conock, "in the Parish of Chirton, in the County of Wilts," was committed; "That they had confidered the faid Bill, " and examined the Allegations thereof, which were "found to be true; that the Parties concerned had given their Confents to the Satisfaction of the Com"mittee; and that the Committee had gone through "the Bill, and made one Amendment thereto."
