A Petition of James Maxwell Hamilton, Appellant in a Caufe depending in this House, to which William Elliott is Refpondent, was prefented and read; fetting forth, "That Wednesday the 31st of January laft, being the "laft Day for profecuting Appeals, the Petitioner's attended this Houfe for the Purpose of fetting Agent "down this Caufe for Hearing, but on his Arrival "between the Hours of Four and Five of the Clock, "the House was adjourned; the Petitioner therefore prays, That their Lordships will be pleafed to allow "the Petitioner to fet down his Caufe for Hearing, not"withstanding the Time limited by their Lordships "Standing Order for profecuting Appeals is expired :" And thereupon the Agents on both Sides were called in, and heard at the Bar:

And being withdrawn ;

ORDERED, That the faid Caufe be heard by Counfel at the Bar, on the First vacant Day for Caufes after those already appointed.
