Accordingly, The Lord Walfingham prefented to the
House a Bill, intituled, "An Act to diffolve the Mar-
"riage of the Right Honourable Henry Wellesley with
"the Right Honourable Lady Charlotte Wellesley his now
"Wife, and to enable him to marry again, and for
"other Purposes therein mentioned."

The faid Bill was read the First Time.
ORDERED, That the faid Bill be read a Second Time
on Friday the 9th Day of February next; and that
Notice thereof be affixed on the Doors of this House;
and the Lords fummoned; and that the faid Henry Wel-
lesley may be heard by his Counsel at the Second Read-
ing to make out the Truth of the Allegations of the Bill;
and that the faid Lady Charlotte Wellesley may have a
Copy of the Bill; and that Notice be given her of the
faid Second Reading; and that fhe be at Liberty to be
heard by her Counsel what she may have to offer against
the faid Bill, at the fame Time.

"I thank you for your very loyal and dutiful Ad-
drefs.

"I receive the greatest Satisfaction from the Affurances
you have given Me of your Determination to support
"Me in every Meafure which may be neceffary for guard-
"ing the Security of my Dominions, and for defeating
"the Defigns which the inveterate Hoftility of the
Enemy continues to direct against the Profperity of
"this Country."

ORDERED, That the Right Honourable Henry Wel-
lesley do attend this Houfe on Friday the 9th Day of
February next, in order to his being examined upon the
Second Reading of the Bill, intituled, "An Act to dif
"folve the Marriage of the Right Honourable Henry"
Wellesley with the Right Honourable Charlotte Wellesley
"his now Wife, and to enable him to marry again, and
"for other Purposes therein mentioned," if the House shall
think fit, whether there has or has not been any Collufion,
directly or indirectly, on his Part, relative to any Act of
Adultery that may have been committed by his Wife,"
or whether there be any Collufion, directly or indirectly,
between him and his Wife, or any other Perfon or Per-
fons, touching the said Bill of Divorce, or touching any
Proceedings or Sentence of Divorce had in the Ecclefi-
aftical Court at his Suit, or touching any Action at Law
which may have been brought by him against any Perfon
for Criminal Converfation with his the faid Henry Wel-
lefley's Wife; and alfo, whether at the Time of the
Adultery of which he complains, his Wife was, bý Deed
or otherwife by his Confent, living feparate and apart
from him, and released by him, as far as in him lies,
from her conjugal Duty, or whether she was at the Time
of fuch Adultery cohabiting with him, and under the
Protection and Authority of him as her Husband.
