1 have the honor to submit, according to law, an abstract from the reports of the clerks of the court of appeals and of the circuit courts, of the business and terms of their respective courts for the year ending the 30th of August 1852.

The abstract is very incomplete and unsatisfactory, in consequence of the failure of a large number of clerks to make the reports required of them.
