About the author (2004) was created by fellow youth workers who are currently spending time in the "trenches" with today's youth. Matt Lee and Lane Brown have close to twenty years of full time student ministry experience. Matt graduated from Abilene Christian University with a degree in Youth and Family Ministry and he has been serving as the Student Minister at the North Pointe Church since 2005. Lane graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Speech Communications, and Harding University with a Masters of Ministry and has been serving as the Family and Youth Minister at the Chandler Street Church of Christ since 2006. Together, Matt and Lane have personally done each of the retreats on They have seen what worked with their annual student retreat, what they wish they would have added, and what they thought was best left out. The final product results in a complete tested and approved retreat for your students.
