"Succession to the Personal Property of the said John

"Vans Agnew hath devolved upon the Petitioner as his

"general Disponee and sole Executrix; but inasmuch as

"the Object sought by the Respondent in the Court

below, of a personal Decree against the said late

Appellant, as Tenant for Life of the Entailed Estates

"of his Family, as well as for Performance of certain

"alleged personal and conditional Obligations of his

"own to his late Father, doth by his Demise attach upon

"the said Patrick Vans Agnew and the Petitioner, in their

respective Capacities of Heir at Law, and of Entail,

"and of Personal Representative: That on the 19th Day
"of May last past, the Petitioner presented her Petition
"to their Lordships to the Effect herein-before stated,
"and praying to the same Effect as is herein under
"written, and her Petition was referred to the Appeal
"Committee; but in respect the Committee did not
report upon the same before the Dissolution of Parlia-

"ment, it becomes necessary for her to renew her Appli-

"cation to their Lordships;" and therefore praying,

"That their Lordships will be pleased to order that the

"said Appeal may stand revived in the Petitioner's Name,

"in so far only as she is interested as the Personal

"Representative of the said John Vans Agnew, and that

"the Petitioner may have the same Benefit of the said

"Appeal as the said John Vans Agnew might have had

" in his Life-time, in so far as she is interested;" and

The House being informed, "That Sir William Fettes Lawsons
"Baronet, David Gillespie Esquire, Norman Hill Esquire, against Sir
"and James Nairne, the surviving and accepting Trustees
"nominated and appointed by the late Colonel Alexander
"Baillie, Inspector General of Barracks in Scotland, and
"Mrs. Euphemia Hamilton, otherwise Baillie, his Spouse,
Respondents to the Appeal of James Lawson and Charles

"Lawson, had not put in their Answer to the said
