Ver. 30. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions ; so iniquity shall not prove your ruin.

Ver. 31. Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed, and make you a new heart, and a new spirit ; For why will ye die, O house of Israel ?

Ver. 32. For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, faith the LORD GOD: Wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

III. OBEDIENCE. Exod. xix. 5. If ye will obey my voice indeed, · and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people.

Lev. xxv. 18. Ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them : and ye shall dwell in the land in safety

Ver. 19. And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and durell therein in safety.

Deut. iv. 1. Hearken, haufael, unto the statutes, and unto the judgments which teach you, for to doo them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD GOD of your fathers giveth you.

Ver. 6. Keep therefore and do them, for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the fight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and fay, Surely this great nation is a wise and understand... ing people.

Deut. v. 29. O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me and keep all my com.mandments always, that it might be well with them, . and with their children forever! .

Deut. xxx. 15. See, I have set before thee this day good and evil :
