About the author (1997)

Dr David Murray is a scientist with more than 50 years gardening experience. He is a fellow of both the Linnean Society and the Royal Horticultural Society. His earlier books include "Growing Peas and Beans", "Carbon Dioxide and Plant Responses", "Seed Physiology" and "Seed Dispersal". David lives in Wollongong, NSW, Australia.
