About the author (2018)

Maya Plass is a Marine and Coastal Ecologist with a focus on providing sustainable coastal management. As well as setting up Learn To Sea, her own marine education centre providing workshops for children and adults, Maya is a patron for several charities. Maya has also been a TV presenter and has written for Coast Magazine as well as authoring The RSPB Handbook of the Seashore, inspired by her own collection of seashore guides.
