 Justus M. van der Kroef is Charles Anderon Dana Professor and Chairman of the Political Science Department in the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut. He holds a Ph.D. degree from Columbia University, New York, and has held Postdoctoral Research Fellowships in the Research Institute on Communist Affairs of Columbia University, and in the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia
