About the author (2008)

John Moretti is a journalist and author who has slaved away for years in the trendy trenches of Milan and elsewhere in Italy. His career highlights include interviewing Giorgio Armani for A&E Biography, producing a documentary on Italian soccer for Australian television, singing on tour with a Franciscan monk and his evangelical heavy-metal band, and following his favorite sporting event, the Tour de France. John is the author of several travel guides and the book Living Abroad in Italy. He grew up outside Boston and is a graduate of Middlebury College.
