If the Officer was killed in action, or died
within 6 months of wounds received in
action.

If the Officer was drowned, or suffered other
violent death in an immediate act of duty,
or if it shall be proved to the satisfaction of
the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty
that he died from the effects of any injury
or disease caused by extraordinary exposure
or exertion on service within 6 months after
his being first certified to to be ill.

If the Officer was killed in action, or died
within six months of wounds received in
action.

If the Officer was drowned, or suffered other
violent death in an immediate act of duty,
or if it shall be proved to the satisfaction of
the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty
that he died from the effects of any injury
or disease caused by extraordinary exposure

after his being first certified to be ill.
