About the author (2015)

Thomas Webster is Associate Professor in the Schools of Engineering and Orthopedic Surgery at Brown University, Rhode Island. He also directs the Nanomedicine Laboratory, which designs, synthesizes and evaluates nanomaterials for various implant applications. Dr. Webster is the founding "Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Nanomedicine."
