About the author (2005)

Kumar Reddy is a manager of Technical Marketing Engineering at Cisco Systems. He has 15 years of industry experience and was involved with DSL broadband at Cisco since some of the earliest deployments in 1998. Kumar contributed to broadband technology and product evolution at Cisco and worked on major customer designs, both in the U.S. and internationally. Kumar is a recognized broadband expert with knowledge of the technologies, products, and trends that are driving the market. He has worked directly with major customers and designs, both in the U.S. and internationally, and has done extensive internal research in this domain, working with internal engineering and marketing teams on new product features and direction. Kumar has also worked on MPLS deployments, as part of his role to support the Cisco aggregation product portfolio.
