"The Diary of the Deity" is Part 1 of the memoirs of the divine creator called "Deos." In this scientifically plausible story, author G. James Royce addresses many questions that men and women have been asking for centuries, such as:
  • If there is a God, how did he or she come into existence?
  • What was God's motivation for creating our universe?
  • If God influenced the creation of living things, what was his or her motivation for doing so?

"The Diary of the Deity" offers unique answers to all of these questions through the story of Deos. A citizen of the universe Precosmos, Deos seeks to abolish the long-accepted practice of slavery. He frees the slaves, and creates our universe as their safe haven. They enter our universe and embark on adventures on Mars and subsequently on Earth where they encounter dinosaurs and Neanderthals.

Deos' brother Satos, an ardent supporter of slavery, is determined to return the ex-slaves to their former owners. When the intergalactic battle ensues, Deos must call upon all of his advanced intelligence to avoid capture and ensure the well-being of the ex-slaves.
