This won the Pulitzer?! Overwritten and trying too hard. A pretentious literature professor might pretend to like this. I kept turning the page to figure out the beating hard of this novel— there was none. Do not recommend this gigantic 771 page piece of disappointment.

Is it possible to fall in love with a fictional character? It must be because I know how I feel about Boris!
