T Edinburgh, the Twentieth Day of November, One Thoufand Seven Hundred and Five Years. Anent the Petition given in and prefented to the Lords of Her Majefties moft Honourable Privy Council, by Agnes Campbell Relict of Andrew Ander fon Her Majefties Printer Shewing, That where the Petitioner, by my Lord Regifters Licence, being about to Print the Acts of Parlia ment of King James the Seventh, and Acts fince the Revolution, in a fmall Volume, for the more Eafe and Accommodation of the whole Liedges; And their Lordships Authority being neceffary to be had thereto, left that others may prefume to Reprint or Import the faid Acts into this Kingdom, in any Volume whatsoever, to the Petitioners great Prejudice and Difcouragement, contrary to her Right and Privilege to do the fame; And that the Petitioner, as faid is, has obtained my Lord Regifter his Licence and Consent to Print the faid Acts; Therefore Craving to the Effect after mentioned, as the faid Petition bears. The Lords of Her Majefties Privy Council having confidered the above Petition given in to them by Agnes Campbell Relict of Andrew Anderfon Her Majefties Printer; And the fame being read in their prefence, The faid Lords have Interponed, and hereby Interpones their Authority to the Petitioner, or her Affigneys their Printing of the Acts of Parliament of King James the Seveuth, and Acts fince the Revolution, either in great or fmall Volumes : And Prohibites and Difcharges all other Perfons whatsoever, to Print, Reprint, Sell, Vend, or Import into this Kingdom any of the faid Acts of Parliament, in any Volume or Form whatsoever, for the Space of Nineteen Years after the Date hereof, without the Petitioners, or fuch as fhall haye Right from her, their Licence and Liberty had thereto; And that under the Penalty of Five Hundred Merks Scots Money toties quoties, to be payed to the Petitioner, or her Affigneys, by the Contraveeners of thir Prefents, by and attour Confifcation of the faid Books: The Price of the faid Books being always Regulate by the faid Lords. UR.SOVER AIGN LORD, with Confent of the Eftates of Parliament conveened, Ratifies and Confirms, all the A&ts and Statutes formerly paft, for the Security, Liberty, and Freedom of the true Church of Gon and the Proteftant Religion,prefently profeffed within this Kingdom, in their whole Strength and Tenor, as if they were here particularly fet down and expreft.
