THE EIGHTEENTH SUNDAY The Collect. The Epistle. Ephes. iv. 1. I THEREFORE, the prisoner of the LORD, beseech you that ve walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye LORD, we beseech thee, grant thy are called, with all lowliness and meek-people grace to withstand the temptaness, with long-suffering, forbearing tions of the world, the flesh, and the one another in love; endeavoring to devil; and with pure hearts and keep the unity of the Spirit in the minds to follow thee, the only GOD, bond of peace. There is one body, through JESUS CHRIST our Lord. and one Spirit, even as ye are called Amen. in one hope of your calling; one LORD, one faith, one baptism, one GOD and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. And behold, there was a certain man before him, who had the dropsy. And JESUS answering spake unto the Lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath-day? And they held their peace. I THANK my GOD always on your behalf, for the grace of GoD which is given you by JESUS CHRIST; that in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; even as the testimony of CHRIST was confirmed in you.
