He was a Congregational minister and held pastorates in Danville, Vt., and Amherst, Mass.

634. David Eastman (Johns, Joseph, Joseph3, Joseph', Roger'), born in Amherst, Mass., June 16, 1806, the “dark day"; married 1st, Jan. 31, 1839, Sarah Elizabeth Smith, born in Exeter, N. H., Oct. 4, 1815, died in Leverett, Mass., March 3, 1843, she was the daughter of Joseph and Sarah Smith, of Exeter. He married 2d, Oct. 8, 1844, Emily Pomroy, born Oct. 30, 1814. Mr. Eastman graduated from Amherst College in the class of 1835, and from Andover Theological Seminary in 1838. Minister, preached in Leverett and New Salem, Mass.
