About the author (2011)

JODI VITTORI is Officer in Charge of Political-Military Analysis in the Air Force Intelligence Analysis Agency, USA. She holds an Undergraduate degree from the United States Air Force Academy, a Masters in Strategic Intelligence from the Joint Military Intelligence College, and a Ph.D. in International Studies from the University of Denver, USA. During her career, she has taught and published articles on the dynamics of terrorism, terrorism finance, Islam in Africa, and transnational gangs.
