Joseph Bassett, Englishman and American, 1839-1916Joseph Bassett (1843-1915) and Emma Grindy Lomas/Loomis (1845-1923) were married in 1861, at Staffordshire, England. In 1873, they immigrated to Allegheny, Co., Pennsylvania. In 1879 they moved to Johnstown where they reared their ten children. Descendants lived in New Jersey, New York, Michigan, Maryland and elsewhere. |
