In the pages of this book, I am pleased to read the details of the untimely death of a 16 yrs old girl know as "Poor Black Kate". Kate was a slave girl on the Island called "Crooked Island"in the Bahamas 1826. She was owned by Henry and Helen Moss prominent citizens at this time.
