of Norfolk.[Rector, with consent of bishop of the diocese and patron of the living, may lease allotments for twenty-one years, upon certain conditions, s. 31. Commissioners to set tithes for the first three years. s. 33.]

(1) The following is a list of Private Statates, from the octavo edition of the Statutes, which were passed in the reign of George the Fourth, for inclosing lands, and in such sta. totes allotments were made to the impro. priators in lieu of tithes, rights of leasing reserved to the clerical incumbents, and other powers or advantages given, according to the circumstances of each case, so as to protect the rights of the church to its property, in the most ample manner.
