RESOLUTIONS, &c.

Die Jovis, 10° Januarij 1811.

DESOLVED, That a Committee be appointed to n attend His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, with the Resolutions which have been agreed to by the Lords and Commons, for the Purpose of supplying the Defect of the personal Exercise of the Royal Authority during His Majesty's Illness, by empowering His Royal Highness to exercise such Authority in the Name and on the Behalf of His Majesty, subject to the Limitations and Restrictions which the Circumstances of the Case appear at present to require; and that the Committee do express the Hopes which the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, entertain that His Royal Highness, from His Regard to the Interests of His Majesty and the Nation, will be ready to undertake the weighty and important Trust proposed to be invested in His Royal Highness, as soon as an Act of Parliament shall have been passed for carrying the said Resolu. tions into Effect.

The said Resolutions are as follow: · RESOLVED, That, for the Purpose of providing for the Exercise of the Royal Authority, during the Continuance of His Majesty's Illness, in such Manner,

RESOLVED, That, for a Time to be limited, the Power fo to be given to His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales ihall not extend to the granting of any Rank or Dignity of che Perage of the United Kingdom of Grout Britain and Ireland, or of Ireland, to any Perän whatever.

RESOLVEN, That, for a Time to be limited, the faid Powers thould not extend to the granting of any (ffice whatever in Rerertion, or to the granting of any Office, Salary, or Penfion, for any other Term than during His Majesty's Pleasure, except such Offices as are by Law required to be granted for Life, or during gued Behaviour.

RESOLVEN, Thar fuch Part of His Majesty's Perfonal Property as is not now vested in Trustees, thould be velted in Truffet's, for the Use and Benetit of His Majetty.

RESOLVEN), That the Care of His Majesty's Royal Porton, during the Continuance of His Ma.
