REAT Jehovah! we adore thee,
God, the Father, God, the Son,
God, the Spirit, joined in glory
On the same eternal throne;
Endless praises

To Jehovah, Three in One.

TO Father, Son, and Spirit, ever blest,

88, 7s & 48.

Eternal praise and worship be addressed;
From age to age, ye saints, his name adore,
And spread his fame, till time shall be no more.

Of every degree,

And saints upon earth,

All praise be addressed
To God in three persons-
One God ever-blest:
As hath been, and now is,
And always shall be.

FATHER Almighty, to thee be addressed,

5s & 6s.

With Christ and the Spirit, one God ever blest, All glory and worship, from earth and from heaven, As was, and is now, and shall ever be given.

1

O

UR FATHER who art in heaven,

Hallowed be thy name;

Thy kingdom come,

THE LORD'S PRAYER.

Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses,

As we forgive those who trespass against us;

And lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from evil;

For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, For ever and ever.

Amen.

THE APOSTLES' CREED.

BELIEVE in GOD the FATHER Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth:

And in JESUS CHRIST his only Son our Lord;

Who was conceived by the HOLY GHOST, born of the

Virgin Mary,

Suffered under Pontius Pilate,

Was crucified, dead, and buried;

He descended into hell; *

The third day he rose from the dead;

He ascended into heaven,

And sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty;

* i. e. Continued under the power of death.

From thence he shall come

To judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the HOLY GHOST;
The holy catholic Church,
The communion of saints;

The forgiveness of sins;
The resurrection of the body,

And the life everlasting. Amen.

GLORIA PATRI.

GL

LORY be to the Father, and to the Son,
And to the Holy Ghost;

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall

be,

World without end. Amen.

Psalm I.

BLESSE

LESSED is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,

Nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord;

And in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,

That bringeth forth his fruit in his season;

4 His leaf also shall not wither;

And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

5 The ungodly are not so:

But are like the chaff which the wind driveth

away.

6 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judg

ment,

Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous: 7 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

GIVE ead to my meditation.

IVE ear to my words, O Lord;
Consider

Psalm Y.

2 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King and my

God;

For unto thee will I pray.

3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord;

In the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness,

Neither shall evil dwell with thee.

5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight; Thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak falsehood: The Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful

man.

7 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy;

And in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

8 Lead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness, because of mine enemies;

Make thy way straight before my face.

9 Let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defend

est them.

Let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

10 For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous;

With favor wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

Psalm VIII.

O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in

all the earth!

Who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
