What if a God or Ultimate Mystery ( call He, She or It what you will) was so infinite as to include everything, Humanism, Science, a Yet to be Invented 'great new theory of everything'?
Science is not the opposite of Religion, on the contrary, Science continually confirms what mystics of every tradition have been saying for years. The whole of Creation, the image of a hazelnut in the palm of God.
You are a persuasive writer, a truly gifted person but , perhaps, a touch of humility and a sense of perspective might not come amiss?
