RICKARDS, An attempt to assist in reviving a taste for Latin Prose Composition in this Country has directed my thoughts to the time, when that department of Latin Scholarship was fostered and encouraged at Oxford by the example and influence of Dr. COPLESTON, and to yourself, as the only Oriel man of that period, with whom I enjoy the pleasure of intimate acquaintance.
