THE following papers were written by one who had had many years' experience in school work. During long weeks of enforced rest, many a weary hour was more than pleasantly occupied in dwelling on incidents of the past, recalled. with never-failing interest and loving sympathy. The more serious papers were written by request, and in the hope that truths, of which she had been convinced, by long practical experience, might be found to be useful to the parents as well as to the teachers of the boys she loved so well.
