About the author (2006)

Bill and Sarah Turnbaugh are anthropologists with university teaching and museum experience, whose interest in Native American craft-arts such as basketry and Southwestern jewelry has been expressed through two previous Schiffer books. Sarah and Bill Turnbaugh are retired from museum and university teaching positions. Their previous Schiffer books on Native American arts include Indian Baskets, Indian Jewelry of the American Southwest, and American Indian Baskets: Building and Caring for a Collection.
