In addition, one chapter is devoted to the problem of creating coherent texts and another to business correspondence, including job application letters. The third edition has been thoroughly revised. Over twenty essays and articles offer extensive reading practice. Close and guided reading of these texts will help students become better critical and analytical readers, which in turn will support their own writing.
