really liked it

A conversation between the wrongly-imprisoned Boethius and the Lady Philosophy, who comes to set him straight in explaining how Love rules the universe, that all fortune is good fortune, and that free will and divine providence work together without any problem. Pretty beautiful book written half in poetry and half in prose. FROM THE SIXTH CENTURY. Boethius is called 'the last of the Romans and the first of the scholastics.'
