A Midsummer Night’s Dream

I actually really enjoyed it. I think it helped that the movie adaptation we watched alongside the book (as part of my AP Literature course) was verbatim the story and Stanley Tucci portrayed Puck. :) I thought that the plot was interesting, to say the least. The influence of the supernatural/paranormal/magic on what was essentially a reflection of the separate worlds (fairy world and "real" world) was pretty neat from a cause/effect view. I liked Puck and Helena's lines the best, even if Helena was a touch "oh, me!" at times. It was an enjoyable read, despite Shakespeare writing like Shakespeare (footnotes on this were mighty helpful) and it turning into a very strange love pentagram or whatever (which magically fixed itself by the end).
