Describes Jewish emigration resulting from antisemitism and pogroms in Russia and Eastern Europe between 1880-1921, and antisemitic persecutions by the Nazi and fascist governments in Central and Eastern Europe in the 1930s and during World War II. also discusses the Final Solution, the rigid British immigration policy in Palestine, and anti-Jewish hostility among the Allied forces in Germany which often suspected Jewish displaced persons of black market activities.
